Gastric hyperacidity associated with pain in abdomen, peptic ulcer. |
| MODE OF ACTION |
Ciprofloxacin inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase enzyme re-quired for DNA replication and-thus causes bacterial lysis. Tinidazole exerts its anti protozoal effect during reduction of its nitro group. The reduced product probably being responsible for its cytotoxic effect. |
